Pantene Bridal Couture Week organized by Style360 takes Karachi by storm!

 Karachi, April 19, 2013: The much-awaited premier bridal show of the country Pantene Bridal Couture Week is back in Karachi to take the city by storm!

 

Pantene Bridal Couture Week, held twice a year, was pioneered by HUM Network and Pantene more than three years ago with the objective of promoting Pakistan’s bridal industry and providing a platform for the country’s up-coming and established designers. The grand bridal show has now become one of the most eagerly awaited events of the fashion industry, and has continued to exceed expectations with each passing show. From the designing of the cards to the complete execution of the event including set designing

 

The three-day event comprising six shows in all, will be a unique mix of glamour, fashion show runway and entertainment segments that could enliven any grand wedding. This year 18 bridal designers are participating in the Pantene Bridal Couture Week, including top names from Pakistan and India, while 14 haute couturiers are also showcasing one outfit each from their collection.

 

Sharing his thoughts on the event, Hassan Fawad, brand communications manager Pantene said: “Pantene is one of the leading names in the beauty industry. This platform is not just a means for us to show our support for the booming fashion industry of Pakistan, but it also provides us with an opportunity to build strong, meaningful connections with women across Pakistan.”

 

The line-up of local designers participating in the event is both eclectic and impressive to say the least. Participating in the three-day event in alphabetical order are: Amna Ajmal, Asifa and Nabeel, Deepak Perwani, HSY, Lajwanti, Madiha Noman, Maliha Sheikh (jewellery designer), Mifrah, Mona Imran, Nadia Mistry, Nadia Chottani, Saim Ali, Sana Abbas, Teena (by Hina Butt),

Yasmeen Zaman, Zaheer Abbas and Zainab Chhotani.

What’s more, this PBCW will also feature Indian designers Anjalee and Arjum Kapoor. Aside from this exciting line-up, Pantene Bridal Couture Week will also include a special segment of Haute Couturiers featuring the country’s upcoming and top designers. Imran Rajput, Deepak and Fahad, Nadaa Saleem, Tabassum Mughal, Obaid Sheikh, Najwa Imran, Wahaj Khan, Ishtiaq Afzal,  Arsalan & Yaseer, Ruby Shakeel, Nida Khurram, Uzma Baber, Naureen Arbab, Vasim Asghar and Musarat Bushra are all going to be part of this special segment.

 

On all three days the show will be choreographed by ace choreographer Hassan Shehryar Yasin. Make-up artist on the first and third days is one of the most respected names in the fashion industry and Pantene’s official hair care expert, Saba Ansari of Sabs Salon. The second day’s make-up and hair-styling will be done by the experienced Laiqa Hassan.

 

Thirty-three female models from across the country will be a part of the event this year. These are Mehreen Syed, Ayan, Rabia Butt, Cybil Chaudhry, Hira Tareen, Rabya
Chaudhry, Fauzia Aman, Nadia Hussain, Amna Ilyas, Iraj Manzoor, Zeba Ali, Sehrish
Baqar, Saima Azhar, Sana Sarfaraz, Rubab, Maha, Sadaf Kanwal, Eshal,
Areeba Habib, Saima Haroon, Sarah Chaudhry, Konain, Isra Shafi, Falak
Sheikh, Racheal, Neha, Nadia Malik, Amna Baber, Fia, Huma Khan, Nadia
Ali, Dania Sheikh, Sidra Imran and the Model Hunt Winner.

In all six shows there will be a special entertainment segment. The first day will feature Pantene Hair Mob and Aamina & Mohib performances. Fuzon (band) will perform on the second day while Body Beat Productions will be performing on the third day.
